Wiring a Navman S80...

Hey guys.
I'm pretty much a noob when it comes to all this stuff so hope someone here can help.

I was wondering if it was possible to wire a Navman using the mobile phone connection point that comes off the stereo.

If not, is there a way to connect it up without using the 12V socket?

do not cut the socket off and wire to 12 v you will blow it up

yes ya can use the phone socket but put a femail ciggy lighter plub on it then plug in navman
female socket is 5 bux form jaycar/dicksmiths/tandy and so on

Awesome, thanks. I knew I couldn't cut the socket off because it's got a converter in it but didn't know how to use the phone socket. Cheers.
