ok sorry if this has been done before but i cant really find the answer i need

im looking at putting 2 amps in (1 for the 4 speakers and 1 for the sub) but i have been told that you dont just wire the amps into the back of the headunit and there is a spot where you wire it up but i have know idea where it is so where is this spot?

Need amp model numbers.

Some amps accept high level inputs, so you can wire the factory speaker wires straight to the amp. Or you can buy a LOC (Line Out Converter) which turns the same speaker wires into RCAs to plug directly into your amps.\

Mate, I'm assuming that you are talking about for the VY?

Doesn't have preouts on the deck, so the three choices are to but a new deck, use LOC on the current deck or talk to Phreddy. Looks like he has a sweet modification you can buy for the stock deck that will give you some RCA outs. If you look under the ASR Audio & Electronics, forum, you will find all the information you will need.

I personally havn't had dealings with him but from all the threads I have read he is more god than man.
