Wiring colour codes

Good arvo all, I have a Haynes manual for my VE but am confused by their colour codes in the wiring diagrams. Things like Y and BN etc seem simple enough but I've never heard of a colour starting with Z or N. Am I missing something here? (The book has no explanatory ledgend)

Thanks guys and apologies for the slow response. It was Throttle position sensor wiring that I was looking at, wiring colour code in my manual seemed to make little sense. Solved the problem by replacing TPS.
