What's the easiest way to get accessory or engine power to my daytime running lights without running a wire from the interior through the firewall?

Some controllers have a high volts 13.8 sense.
So, engine running with alternator running is on.
How that translates to a modern ecu switching the alternator on and off to save load, I would guess that breaks those controllers.
Unhelpful I guess. I don't think the early 6.0 had this feature.

Thanks for that. Mine are pretty simple, they even work when I just connect them to a small 12 v battery I have. Just struggling to find a simple method of getting switched power to them.

Have a probe at the wipers. Normally there is a key on power to park the motor in most cars.
