cheers for the reply! I'm pretty sure I have removed or tucked away most of the airbag wiring as I wont need it, I had a look at the motors to see if this plugs in to them but doesn't look to be any spots, it is definitely coming from the switches :S

should I cut them both and splice them into the red power wire and see if it works or is that just dumb ?

another pic

Does your drivers seat function properly with the Calais seat in, or none of it working? Just put full electrics into daughters VT Clubby, and the drivers seat works fine in all electric modes just by plugging back in the original wiring. It only needs power, which is already there for the seat tilt..
Passenger side needs power, I just ran 2 wires over from drivers side, and alls well.

Just noticed in your 2nd pic, whats the go with the orange/black wire you have cut off? That should be the power up wires.

the seat tilt and what not works, it just doesn't move forward and backwards on the railing, this plug is definitely going to the switches that's why im kinda thinking its for the forward and back motion..

possibly for the airbags?

im pretty confident it isn't for the airbags seeing as its going to the electric switches and im sure ive got rid of all the airbag wiring

I'd have to check mine I don't know off the top of my head what the wiring is.

Maybe it's the memory module?

That would be great! the seats do move forward and backwards on electrics instead of the bar thing u need to pull on the older models yea ? I have just wired the passenger up to the power and they all work fine aswell just cant get them to slide forward or backwards either ?

da fuq :/ lol

I have a Monaro and a base model Clubsport, the Monaro has 8 ways, everything is electric forward back tilt etc - the passenger even moves forward by itself as well when tilted forward from the side, drivers has 3 memory buttons as well. The Clubsport has the bar it's a sports seat with higher bolsters but the same electrics as an exec. Both cars are the same age, VXII '02's.

ah fair enough, I reckon im just gonna cut the green and yellow then spice it into the red because it seems to be needing power or something :S
