Wiring reverse camera

Not_An_ABBA_Fan it does have a dedicated input for rev cam an rca cable but the harness also has a wire marked "Back" i figured this was a trigger wire and needs to be hooked up
Taz if i solder 2.8mm spade connectors to the head unit will they plug into the commodore factory input harness so i dont have to cut it out? and just plug them in in and bingo its alive

Just splice into the wiring behind the plug without actually cutting the plug.

"back" is the trigger wire.

I just cut a bit of insulation off the green wire, exposed the wire, wrapped the signal and camera power wire around it, flattened it, dropped a few drops of solder on it, and wrapped it up in electrical tape. Nice and simple and haven't blow a fuse or bulb yet, and its been a while.
