Can I get feedback on witch brand makes better shockies?
    KYB OR MONROE

I Have been told and a little bit of searching around suggests that KYB are sightly better?

    Anybodys thoughts would be great!

What sort of price differences are you lookin at for similar low-end shocks for a VX wagon? Front strut cartridges + rear shocks that is...

I've been to a few suspension places asking for prices when I was enquiring about getting my car lowered.

I asked about Monroe shocks and 3 out of the 6 places I went to laughed and said we don't sell products that low down the food chain.

KYB all of them were willing to sell it.

I've got fully adjustable KYB AGX shocks, and the car handles great.

They're not BAD as such, they're just not 'great'. They're 'just' shocks. You get what you pay for - with a warranty of course. Shock manufacturers do have guidelines to follow :).

the shop i work for sells more monroe because there easier to get a hold of, there isnt an agent in W.A who has a good stock list and free freight to our store so we mostly sell monroe. i havnt quoted receantly but by memory they are around the same cost for both brands. if your really serios about your suspension i would by KYB, i have a pair of one month old monroe shockies that were returnd by a customer because the lowered bushes split and monroe wanted the date of purchase the date of fitting a certificate of the aprooved dealer who fit them adn the colour of his underware ect. before they would warrenty them, so he said forget it and bought KYB's leaving the old ones with i took home, VN sedan rear shocks for sale, LOL just need new bushess, brand new nearly, anyone??
