Wk Statesman radiator

Hi I'm new here. I have a Wk Statesman and a VT Commodore.
I am sorry but I need to know if a 3 core radiator will fit my 2003 WK Statesman build date is April 2003. It seems to me that they changed from a 2 core to a 3 core in May 2003. So can I put a 3 core in my WK ?
I have a very curly question about my VT
I will tkle that one later as its a long detailed problem.
I will add that I am an old school mechanic qualified in 1978.

I dare say the outer dimensions are the same, don't see why it wouldn't work.

Gday. It seems the 3 core is wider. The 2 core is just 32mm thick. Thanks for your reply though.
I have ordered the standard radiator.
Just my luck to have the last of that run and they changed them the next month. You learn something every day.

Thicknesses are common to vary in a lot of cars (i.e. between bigger and smaller engines) but they will still bolt in the same (otherwise a lot of aftermarket radiators wouldn't work either), it's when something like the mounting points change that it gets tricky. I'm sure it'll be fine anyway.

Yes that's true but I didn't want to gamble with one I wasn't sure would fit.
Spent 2 hours measuing and looking at different ones on the net. There does seem to be a great deal of variations in sizes out there.
