Wm caprice phone connection

I have a 2nd hand wm caprice and have paired my phone and when i push the phone button on the steering wheel it activates the google voice on my phone but has no connection with audio system.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried pressing media button after the Bluetooth connection is established?

What phone do you have?

Have you got phone calls playing through drivers front speaker? Is the sound working through it?

In your phone's Bluetooth settings is "Vehicle BT" coming up in the list of connections? If it is, pressing on it should pair your phone to the vehicle. The message "Voice In" should be displayed for a few seconds on the vehicle screen.

Yeah it does all that except no "voice in" displayed on headset.
