Hi,
Any idea why my alternator light comes on when I start the car ? It won’t go away until I Rev the car then it won’t come again Until I start the car

Your alternator may not be alternating...it may need an alteration or an alternative..

I would say your correct, But I tried to pull one of these down to replace the Circuit board Regulator, and brushs,
Then ditched it,
for the time it took to dis-assemble it, including the over-run clutch,
cheaper to buy a new one with a Warranty.

If you have a multi meter I would start the car and dont touch the pedal and measure the Voltage to see if the voltage is around 13.6 or 13. 8 Volts but if you find 11.9 or even 12.3V I say the alternator needs replacing and thus the light come on..
