I have a vr commodore if l have someone spray aerostart constantly it will run but as soon as we stop spraying it it stops what could this be as have done fuel pump and crank sensor

Did you replace tbe fuel filter?

Sounds like the fuel lines have been put on backwards. It is easy to do. Happened to me when I replaced my pump. It will still sound like the pump is priming but its actually not pressurising the rail.

It’s getting fuel to the the rail as we had hose of car was doing this prior to us putting new pump

Well it has fuel so lm guessing pressure is ok

Yes if you have fuel at the rail that is a good start
