Started my commy this morning and backed her out of the shed.

She has a small leak from the rocker cover so I went round and tightened all the rocker cover bolts.

Now she wont start?!!

She is getting fuel but no fire

?

dont the rocker cover bolts need to be tightened to a certain degree with a torque wrench? too tight and there isnt the right pressure or something... just guessing but maybe someone will correct me or back me up?

OK

kept cranking and she evntually fired and was real chuggy and ****.

The idle was pulsing

Got her running a bit and wiggled the wires on a sensor that goes into the water jacket and she promptly stopped.
Played with the wires in that area and managed to get her going again, wiggled the wires and she stopped and now wont go.

Almost flattened the battery.

Battery is charging.

Picture shows the sensor in question - what is it and why would it affect the car??

Thanks

Thanks dude,

After doing my research I found that the sensor was the Engine Temperature sensor for the the EFI and had crapped out.

Replaced the sensor and all good.:yeah:
