Cadillac CTS have the same engines I believe. GM 12636175 replacement part. cheap ones.

Just wondering, was this throwing out a check engine light? i'm having very similar issues with my '05 Alloytec 190 and am pulling my hair out trying to figure it out as im not getting a check engine light or any generic codes. it's been a bit hard to track down. I'm wondering if a higher level scan such as a Tech2 will see any codes that my basic Bluetooth reader cant see? The weirdest thing ive seen from my data is a general negative trim on Bank 1 (-7 or so). I've noticed a small amount of fuel smell in the oil. I did an oil flush and it ran well for a while but its still loping after start stop driving when hot starting. Ive changed plugs and a suspect Ignition coil and its running better but its still negative on Bank 1 so im thinking leaky injector or Camshaft Solenoid.

Have you checked your fuel pressure ?

no I havent, IM taking it to a decent mechanic on thursday, but i guess thats why i was asking, should i take it in if i dont have a check engine light? i dont wanna spend hundreds on labour and still not know whats wrong. Thanks for that link Trev, i appreciate that. Im just wondering why my machine is stalling, and why i dont have a check engine light for the stall.
