Anyone know were I can get one for YV’s? I don’t even know if there is any floating around, but figured someone on the forums might know a place that sells/acquires them
I bought my VT-VY manual off ebay new for $40. It is a Max Ellery and it is not the best but better than nothing. Lots of typo's and the pictures change from VT to VY without warning, so you need to look and read several times to work out what is being presented. It has come in handy, as I own a VT2 and a VY. Regards, Mark
cheers Thanks for that, I had considered ebay, but i was told basically the same thing...that there terribly typed and hard to understand. Might give Auto One a shot, they didn’t have anything at repco. Cheers
Do you have an Autobarn shop or equivalent anywhere near you? If so there is a soft cover workshop manual for the VY's (1 & 2) available and I believe it is a Max Ellery. I picked mine up for $49 or there abouts and seeing as I'm not exactly a car guru am yet to actually use it.
thanks for that camvyss, i got 2 autobarn's near me, i dont know why i didnt try them in the first place. (Y)
The other option is to pay GMH $251+ for their Cd which cover the lot about the VY's & the HSV derivates.
As good as it sounds, i think ill pass. plus you cant just reach for a computer when your under a car or yeah and $251+ for a cd......i think ill stick with the book
Let me know if you manage to buy a genuine GMH workshop manual for the VY. I bought the CD because the book wasn't available. Yeah thats what they told me to at first.
CD on Ebay Well, I bought the CD Workshop Manual on Ebay. It is real, and registered without any troubles. Looks really good, though obviously dearer than the others. I am happy at the $100 that I paid.
Would someone like to upload one for the members to use  http://forums.justcommodores.com.au...-1997-2002/57791-vt-workshop-manual-cd-3.html
