Hi guys,

Just wondering whether it would be beneficial fitting a mace plenum spacer to a vortech charged ecotec?

Would it stuff up the tune?

Thanks

I had one on mine pre boost, which I took off and ended up putting it back on post boost. The plenums get super hot from the head/LIM so it reduced heat soak issues I'd noticed after some squirts up the Clyde mountain. My air temp sensor sits up close to the throttle body so it also made sense to keep that accurate as close to the combustion chamber as possible.

Its not going to cost even half a Chinese made intercooler, so IMO it's not an awful investment given the heat trials and tribulations FI Ecos bring us.
