    Hey guys and girls,

I have a standard vx series 2 executive with a stock v6 ecotec engine.

Just was on v6 performance website, and they currently are offering a 12.5% discount on total order.

Was looking at getting the following:

    81*C Cooler Thermostat
    Type-S Cold Air Intake Kit
1.95 Extreme Ratio Rockers or 1.97 Hybrid Extreme Ratio Rockers

Will i notice an improvement in performance of my stock v6 ecotec with these upgrades?

81 Degree thermostat isn't going to do anything for you. Your car was designed to run at 91 degress anyway so leave that be. CAI and rockers are a very good upgrade for little work and relatively small money, so yeah I recommend that.

You might also look at an exhaust upgrade sometime down the track.

would a lower thermostat just keep the temp of the car lower, therefore use more fuel?
