Turbos make more power than chargers anyways, well at least in my experience. Charged 8 (5L) vs Turbo 4 and it was pretty even
And it's fun hitting the point where you hit full boost, it's like leading up to the best thing ever

So fitted the new o2 sensor. Fail plug is wrong. Will get the auto leccy to sort it when he does the rest of the car. Will also see how much he will charge to fit an ecu.

Edit: Oh and just because I can I filled it with ultimate and pro strength octane booster. Backfires really good now. Think it has a smidge more power but I doubt it. Managed to spin first and chirp into second last night. P plater next to me didn't have any idea what was going on.

Wouldn't you rather take of in 2nd spinning hit third still spinning and chirp fourth ?

I'm trying to save the gearbox. Sudden traction destroys them so yeah. Spinning is better then spin then grip.

Well went for a fun drive up in the mountains yesterday. Nothing like instant torque. Had a friend in the car who knows a bit about turbos etc and confirmed I probably have a chipped wheel or something. No big deal given I have another one in the cupboard. Shifter bushes are so bad. Probably about 5 cms of play in gear.

Looks like I have also sourced a front mount kit as well as a spare gearbox. I'm tempted to try strip it down myself for when I get an LSD (in a mllion years)

Damn that's a costly mod. How about the rear diff? Or doesn't it matter because it's mostly fwd?

Just 4 wheel steering. This thing with AWD would be interesting to say the least. Found an LSD in australia with a decent gearbox. Now to see how much they want for it.

Well looks like I'm picking up a brand new unused LSD and another gearbox for the price of the LSD itself. Will probably replace slave and master cylinder when it goes in. While be getting a new clutch and flywheel to. Lightened flywheel ftw.

So gearbox is sitting on a pallet ready for me to transfer the rest of the money in. Also on the hunt for some one who can make me a patch harness so I can just plug the microtech in.
