not 100% sure, but it could be a central locking modual?
or if your car has climit control?

ring holden and give them the part number to see what it is if it aint the central locking modual.

thats if your car has central locking.

it wouldnt be a alarm as they normaly stick the black box under the steering coloum.

whats the problem your chassing??

if the dash aint working, try swapping the blue plugs around because
many who strip dashes misplace the 2 blue plugs with each other.

if you have tryed 3 clusters, make sure there all vn-vp, some vr`s may not work as the curcit boards on the back light up different things.

as i said, check u have the blue plugs in the right spot also as well as the orange.

the wiring loom is straight forward, but make sure earth wires have good ground & everything is pluged in proerly.
normaly if u mix the cluster plugs up, it only burns the curcit board out on the back of the cluster..
they are a replacable item or get another vn-vp V6 cluster

ive used vr-vs clusters before in vn-vp and they light up different options..

make sure u test all your fuses with a test light and not just look at them, check u have all the right relays in the right places and dont mix a relay with a flasher unit.

thanks for the help snaffler! that's a big help!
well, i've followed the numbering on the clsuter, and all the connectors are in the right place, except 1 orange one

going in one way, the indicators work, but the immobilsor doesn't, so won't start
in the other way, the indicators are all wrong, but the immob. works, so starts

really buggs me!

i thought that if i fried anything, i could just replace it with another clsuter, but all 3 aren't working when 1 clsuter mess up, so it had to be either

1. loom
2. ecu

hence i'm looking for ecu to see if it works or rule out that idea

but i'll test the fuses and check the grounds

thanks for the help!
