What do you mean by wup, wup? Is the noise dull, woosh, almost like a tyre rubbing on a guard sound?
Sounds heavy sounding wup thud like you might say, the faster you go the louder it gets

Ok yeah I did some sussing and VY Crewy might have had cone LSD. But the noise I described is the noise the cone LSDs make when slow cornering. Its not the noise you described.

If I read this correctly, you got 2 new tyres THEN one started going wup wup.

If this is the case and the tyres were fitted by a tyre shop,
then take the car back cause you possibly have a faulty tyre.

Better still, run your hand slowly around the tyre feeling for high spots,
and when you find a high spot, take the car back to the tyre shop and tell them it is faulty.

That is how I read it also. New tyres, then wup, wup ........ = faulty tyre, return to tyre shop.

Sounds a lot like a bubble on the tyre
Not usual for a new tyre but might have had a belt go

Run your hand over the tread face and feel if it has lumps in the tread face....

To me it sounds like a tyre that is out of round/lumpy.....So take it back to where the tyres were purchased and get them to check it out to confirm this....

If they are out of round/lumpy, they should be replaced free of charge

Have you jacked it up and spun the wheels?
