I wouldnt bother.

For that price you can buy 2 sets of 55w 6000k kits, one in H7 and one in H1 for low and high beam

Keep checking ebay mate, any H7 will fit a VE and ive seen the 35w for about $80 delivered

I'd agree too expensive for what is just another generic HID kit, look around eBay some more. My advice also is get the lowest colour temp you can, don't go over 5000K.

First:
$ 220 is too much,
I got mine on ebay ...$49 from hongkong, and works TOP !
stay off the 55w because it gets too hot and the cables will start too melt after time.
I like the 6000k colour , its the same as the BMW's and the MERC's. I'm on my therd set of 6000k ( all in different cars ) and its the best colour, nice and white !!!!! dont go 8000k or 10/12000k its too purple.
but that's me,

I'm new to changing to HID globes, is it as simple as changing the globe to a HID one or do you need to buy one of the kits with all the wiring etc and they plug into the existing loom of the car or is there additional wiring to do?

Thanks for the offer but unfortunatly in Melb. Its good that they are that easy to change over, I was thinking it would be a much harder task than that.
