VL twin turbo. VN5L. old jeep, **** mondeo.
i didnt even knwo there was an 80mm on the XF's
the 80mm would be better but if you already have the 68mm on it yeah probably not worth making it even bigger because you wont notice much increase in anythign because the inlet manifold isnt big enough for the 68mm let alone the 80mm

i've only got the standard vl tb and i've been told that this one i should be getting pretty soon is an 80mm. when i put it on i'll be replacing the whole intake to suit, so it gets a nic even flow. cheers.

how are you oing to replace the whole intake? the opening on the plenum isn't big enough for 80mm to be of any benefit. the air flow is only good if the plenum can get it in.

by the intake i meant the intake piping not plenum, forget to wrinte piping. the plenum u just get a die grinder and take it out to the same size as the tb. i've read articles on how to do it. i was just wanting to know which would be the better size to use. i'm thinking the 80mm would be the better size.

the plenum won't have enough meat on it to grind out that far.
