XU6 memcal upgrade??

Iv sifted through alot of negative and some good post relating to the supposaded xu6 memcal upgrade for my 99 s/c VT, can anybodt give me a strait out answer are they worth it or are they not? They are going for like 80 on ebay atm so im just figuring that they are prob to good to be true

from what i've heard, no they are not worth it. mainly changes shift points in transmission.

better off doing other mods, then getting it tuned properly.

speak 2 greenfoam on this forum he has his chips on ebay tho i cant say if hes worked with S/C memcals b4 but mayb some1 else can answer that 4 him?

other than that its the best bang 4 ur buck really.

I had A green foam Xu6 memcal for my VS statesman ,there was a noticeable difference in shift points and the car was smoother through the rev range but to get the best out of it you need a good flowing exhaust and have it close to the Xu6 spec as possible but once you start using bigger TB and other mods its time for a new tune
