The 318i is the perfect hairdressers car. Does this mean a career change for Hak? :whistling Looks like fun though anyway. Reaper
lol, no career change, but this things not gonna be an average 318i by the time its done. i double checked where the new hillclimb track is going to be and its literally up the road from me, fun times!!
wheels done the other day, today i swapped the headlights to the twins i got off the other bmw and cleaned up the grilles, slapped on the new grille and indicators.
funtimes!! got my rotors the other day, had a play today test fitting them on the car. front with test fit of 4 piston caliper(not final position, gotta make bracket) and spacer ring to keep it hubcentric. gotta drill a new locating bolt hole and stud holes. both pics are the wrong side rotors, just happened to be the 2 boxes i grabbed. rear test fit with spacer ring. only gotta drill new stud holes on this one. still deciding on a rear caliper, as these are vented rear rotors and the stockos were solid.
more brake goodies!!! this stuff is all going on after rego, coz it kinda wont pass with it on 2x 5/8" remote reservoir master cylinders balance bar remote bias adjuster
What wheels are those dude?? I got a e30 318i (in red) thats supposed to be a daily driver... but now i have springs on the way... a cannon on the way (i got it for 2 bux so meh) new lifters, lights, globes, steering wheel and sports seats.... So much for daily driver... Yours looks cool mate... but yeah... what rims?
god knows, scored em on ebay for $300 they were silver but i painted them black with vht wheel paint. these things are addictive i swear, ive spent so much on suspension and brake parts for this its crazy. got an indicator done today and heres a few pics of the indicator pcb and the lot sitting in the bucket and updated bucket with what ive had to cut. didnt hotlink, as it would probably take forever to load(hosting pics from home) http://lowagz.sytes.net/bmw/red/tail lights/100_4928.jpg http://lowagz.sytes.net/bmw/red/tail lights/100_4929.jpg http://lowagz.sytes.net/bmw/red/tail lights/100_4930.jpg http://lowagz.sytes.net/bmw/red/tail lights/100_4931.jpg
Nice work on the rims! the suitnit to a tee! That lighting setup your doing is pretty sweety!! Should look a treat on the road! I'll have to throw up some pictures of mine after this weekend.... Ended up buying over a grand and a half of bilstein suspension components and king springs to put in this weekend. Plus spraying the calipers and all that jazz...
thanks guys, gotta cut the rhs tail light bucket for the leds, and mount the boards, then theyre done. dad scored some free front vr calipers yesterday, perfect for the rear vented rotors test fit
Nice! How are you going to talk the issue that the has a 4 stud setup and your new brakes are 5 stud?? Well, you'll certainly have the anchors to pull you up quick smart now!
