Your best experience in a Holden.

Now, this is opening a can of worms, so a couple of ground rules before we start.

1. No legal motor racing events. Not interested in your driving prowess on the track.

2. No back seat conquests. Not interested in those either.

So, no doubt we all have incidents that occurred at some time while you were driving a Holden that might interest others. So, let's have them. I'll put my contribution in later.

1. Driving my LX from the Gold Coast to Perth via Bendigo with everything I owned in the boot. Given the size of a Torana's boot, that wasn't much lol. When we left Bendigo I also had my mates drum kit in the back seat. 50 hrs Bendigo to Perth.

2. Driving my first born home from the hospital in the VS. I don't think I ever felt so nervous on the road in my life.

3. Sitting next to Cam McConville in his VX for a handful of hot laps around Barbagallo.

Yeah I have some good old memories..... and some best forgotten in my old LX.. Actually same goes for my old HG and HX... I'd love to say what went on but some dodgy S###... No thefts or anything along those lines just young and silly...

Possibly should never admit to this but Statute of Limitations probably makes it safe enough. Early 1978. Travelling along General Holmes Drive late at night. Virtually no traffic. XY 351 Falcon Ute draws alongside my 327 HT Premier and its on. Indicated 118mph under airport and the Falcon is walking away from me. Sound from our two cars' dual exhausts was incredible. Ford 1, Holden 0.

Anything written in text on a forum would be argued in court that it was a lie when boasting to mates. Any prosecutor would know it's a lost cause before they even begin. I think you're alright lol

Traffic matters in NSW become Statute barred if information not laid within 6 months of offence being committed.

It probably seems like a boast but it's not intended to be. My car was flogged by that Falcon.
