How did you find the 25% underdriven balancer BLACK346 was it worth the $$$.

  7. BLACK346

    BLACK346 Guest

It's not fitted yet Daz, I am still waiting for the belts.
Lots of reports of 8-10rwkw, but more importantly
about 2 tenths down the quarter with this mod.
I will let you know what I think when it is fitted.
All up cost me $220 delivered for the balancer
and $67 for the 2 belts.

Daz, Know a couple who have and wish they hadn't,
not much room in there. I think you need a special
pulley tool as well. I have been quoted $50-100
depending on how difficult it is, I am happy to pay
that just to save the skin off my knuckles :)

ok you have nos but with out some form of forced induction 1000HP is really kind of unbelieveable, do u have a dyno print out to prove this? and it would be 1000HP @ the engine with that combo @the wheels your dyno is REALLY REALLY HAPPY!

    Hhahaha

    Hey LWB
No it wasnt rear wheel HP, I wish it was buy hey.

    Ok accuracy figures
    I had 684 hp at 7200 rpm on a 13;1 cr with C16 fuel
Just pulled the engine and have gone up to 13.5:1 and changed from the Come alloy heads to the yella terras.
It is due to go to the dyno shop next week so i will try and get a video clip of the dyno runs to verify my outragest claims.

And one other thing, there is a few guys getting around with naturally aspirated 383s that are doing a fair bit over the 700 mark now, one i have heard of from a well known Dandenong shop pulling 740.
