Post your top 5 who are either dead, retired or broken up. This should be interesting.

#1 Slipknot (RIP Paul Gray) although I did see them Live in 2005
#2 The Bleeders (NZ band, they split, and then 2 of them are back with some others musicians as Leeches. And they are just as good)
#3 Blindspott (another NZ band, they split and mostly rejoined, but are now called Blacklistt, and are only 80-90% as good)

not on the list:
ZZ Top; they were the only reason I attended the Hamilton 400 the other year, I had to see them before they became part of this list.

I'll get back to you with #5 later

Pantera (even if Phil, Vinny & Rex got back together it would never be the same without Dime)
Hendrix
Nirvana
Stevie Ray Vaughn
And lastly, purely coz I reckon his shows would have been pretty awesome and I grew up listening to his music almost every day coz my dad loved him... Elvis Presley

I based mine on bands/artists that are dead.
Led Zeppelin would definitely be on the top of my list and also The Allman Brothers Band, Duane Allman is dead but I really would've liked to see them too
