To be fair to my WM Caprice, I did buy it from the auctions with no history and at a stupidly low price.
still a good place to buy, is it a 6 or 8?

It's an 8. I only get to drive it when it needs fuel or on family trips. Wife drives it mostly. Tried to blame auto on her driving- didn't go down well.

ok - all warranty replacements...

OE strut mounts failed twice
Sway bar links and bushes
control arm bushes
both front struts
Harmonic balancer x3
AC compressor
AC pulley
P/steer pulley x2
Serpentine belt
heater hoses
Windscreen plenum x2
Clutch x3
Clutch pedal assembly x2
Gearbox...... x5
Driver's seat x2
Driver's kick panel x2
Driver's door speaker
sump gasket
Grille (they broke it, they fixed it)
Shifter boot surround (as above)
front bar respray (faulty - and then they dropped it - same reason the grille was farked)
top brake light (the day I picked it up)

And roughly 1.7 billion little clips that hold the inside together.

That's all I can remember for now. There's probably more - Will edit this post when I can think better or be bothered looking through the service history.

After all that trouble, they would have been better off just giving you a new car Lol.

So this is your last Holden I assume?

Remains to be seen - I need a ute at this stage and I can't stand any others on the market. See what's happening work-wise and what's available when it's time to bin this one.

I asked the question. They said no. a lot.

Figure I'll bring another ray of light to the thread. My 2011 SS-V sedan has had no issues over the 3months and 7600kms I've had it.
