I still don't see the need for that. Gee even Mercedes doesn't mind a little oil in the combustion chamber
So when you say Mercedes are you referring to the F1 team? If so, the oil they run is different to what we use in the average motor vehicle as is the motor that is consuming (or rather was consuming) said oil.
