Yes it is. I've put forward some theories made by others and so far you have picked them for reasons that have been covered by these people.
The gorillas in Africa were thought not to exist for many years until they were discovered.
The fact that no one has done scientific discoveries of this alleged species does not mean it does not exist.

So how do you dispel the thousands upon thousands of sighting stories? Oh and people know the difference between a bear and a upright walking ape.
