hey all
I recentally had a major boot leak (my tyre well was full of water) and i had a 15" sub and amp in there but luckelly they didnt get wet so i took them out to clean up the water and try fix it. I taped up the earth and power cords so they couldnt short anything out but i didnt tape up the rca cord, which i thought you didnt have to. Last night on the way to the casino thumping along to a bit of meat loaf one of my mates in the back moved the cords out of the way (the cords were sitting in the middle back seat) and then there was a zap and all my speakers stoped working and then strong smell of smoke and no more meat loaf. My head unit will still turn on but there is no sound coming from the speakers. the only cord that wasnt taped up was the rcs which usuall goes to my amp. If anyone knows what could have went wrong and how i should go about fixing it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
(long live meat loaf) haha
