Who would have thought that a car nobody wanted would sell so poorly :p

What people actually want as a daily driver these days astounds me. The driving public in 2019 is stupid. 70% of everything on the road falls into the following categories: SUV, dual cab truck, Prado, Landcruiser, Patrol. Sedans (now actually considered small) and small cars would constitute 10-15%.

Yep. Just shows how people don't give a rat's about the driving experience.
Sure, a hilux etc are much nicer now than they were a decade ago but by no means an enjoyable car to drive. They still feel like a work truck with a fancy interior. Funny how some of the folks who were calling Commodores large fuel guzzling dinosaurs a few years back now buy these tanks for the misses to cart the kids around in........

Not much fun sharing the roads with this new generation of road bullies driving their enormous jacked up trucks with massive bull bars either.

Presumably when GM sold Opel to PSA, they made an agreement to supply Buick for so many years. I guess they don't think it is worth developing a new sedan

You’ve really gotta be nervous if you were a Holden Dealership owner.
    The Holden brand is dead.
The offers that are coming forth from the US have no class. They all look like more refined Canyon Arrows.

Saw a used VF V8 ute sell in a day at a premium.
Have seen too many ZB’s sit in the show room collecting dust.

When someone asks me what do I see in driving "that gas guzzler V8 on our anal enforced speed limit crazy road", more often than not, I ask them what they see driving their underpowered, crap handling bottom-spec FWD only SUV...

I usually just say you don't have to flog a V8 (or any performance vehicle for that matter) to enjoy driving it.

I have nothing but contempt for the SUV sycophants who believe I should ditch the car and buy an SUV because "nobody buys cars any more." Internet logic at it's very best.

The Tourer is being dropped from the Vauxhall lineup too. The ZB seems to be struggling overseas, too.

Yep. Hardly saw one in two months of driving the UK. Even they don’t want them.

They're probably better than some of their current competitors. But, incredibly, there's so few on the road after all this time. Can drive all day without seeing one, even in large cities. Holden's lucky to have the Colorado to sell.
