What's the difference between a Commodore and a Commorde?

Perhaps someone has been playing with the letters on the bootlid?

EDIT: I also love it that someone signs up, asks a single, valid question (albeit in the wrong forum), then almost 4 years later comes back to rant about the ZB. What an amazing world we live in

I owned Australian built v8 commorde all my adult life from VB TO VF SERIES 2 ssv redline and now I own the new zb vxr COMMORDE it is a fantastic car I admit I was a little sceptical at first buying a European commorde but I’m very happy it and I’m a old school die hard Commodore fanatic a true traditionalist, we all know it should not have been called a commorde everyone should be looking at it as a new European car not HOLDEN and I bet all the knockers and whingers (it not a commorde it’s **** )would not have driven one Or have never been inside one let alone drive one get over yourselfs All the reviews I’ve seen are correct it is a fantastic car

.. nothing wrong with the car (from ZB base LT up) as I have stated here
but
it ain't no Commodore

Did private buyers buy VF/VF2 SV6? Or was it mainly into fleets on buy Australian made rules?

Sure private buyers bought VF/VF2 v8,s.

So if fleets were the main buyer of VF/VF2 SV6 Holden rolls on and calls the ZB a Commodore as its market to sell it into is fleets.

So ZB has no V8 or tt6 for private buyers.
Would fleets have bought ZB if it was badged Insignia?

A comparison of Commodores and women……
VB > VL …… Elle Macpherson. Getting on a bit but still looks good.
VN > VS …… Nicole Kidman. Fragile but scrubs up OK, despite age.
VT > VZ …… Jennifer Hawkins. Great shape, with no scandal or controversies.
VE > VF ……. Kate Campbell. Big, loud, sporty, no nonsense or frills.
ZB …… Sharon (from Kath and Kim.)

as the company's national fleet manager for my employer
and with 'national fleet' status with Holden (which got me
an invite to ZBs launch)... yes in our case

So your company didn't buy ZB Holden Commodores, but would have bought ZB Opel Insignias ?
If correct, I think that sums up the feelings about Holden at the moment.

I'll agree the ZB is a good car, about as good as a Camry...
Its the Euro equivalent of an 'appliance'...

it's a sponge cake , with a bit of icing , whereas all previous Commodores , were meat pies of varying types
