Whats better for VR V8, Turbo or Supercharger ??

Hey guys just wondering what is etter for a VR V8, a turbo or supercharger. You can make up or buy turbo kits pretty cheap these days for about a grand. Anyone got any thoughts...

the supercharger option is much easier. There is plenty of S/C kits to suit the 5.0, but no turbo ones. There is alot of work in making a turbo fit in the poorly setup 5.0 engine bay.

go for the charger less chance of lag (like that you get from turbos)

if you wanted something a bit "out there" you could have a twin top mount turbo setup. would be alot of rooting round and engineering but would be worth while and could amke some big power with the right setup.

i have the torque power dual plane manifold with the 4 barral 1000cc throttle body, would a holly charger or somfin bolt on ??

go the turbo if ultimate power is the goal and open cheque book, charger otherwise. lot less work. good power to be had etc, neat etc. the engine bottom end is limited with what you can force down it's throat before you need to strenghten things up a little

hey all what would be a nice small blower to use with a 5ltr i heard you can get small chargers of some of the jap imports?

no those blowers would only suit the 3.8
