Holden IQ Full Custom Background

Thought I would post up what I have been up to with my IQ. Since having my IQ I've been screwing around with cracking the VIM and all the options when I got it and got that sorted, wrote some software and happy days but wanted to push it further. I really wanted a custom startup animation logo and also a custom background. Started with the background first and will then work on skinning the buttons (so you can make your own buttons) and the next step is the startup animation. With the help of a mate (cheers Steve!) and HOURS of testing and driving to work sometimes with a dead IQ and no A/C, this is the background:

Just needs a quick tidy up to get the bottom section aligned (not to bad to fix) but I got a bit excited and decided to post it up.

Jezza, I do like seeing what you're upto over at carmodder. So I've seen just how much time and effort you put into your mods (and other people's). Not to forget a few of the others over there as well. It amazes me what you guys sort out with perseverance. Oh and top work on this one, it looks great. Keep up the good work.

Cheers guys. We're getting there. I guess the rule is never say "It cant be done" And there is a few more tricks coming yet. Ive made some software for clusters (E3) and nearly all the other modules etc.

Obviously, you've spent a butt load of time on this, but you can run through how you've done it (without giving it away obviously!)?

Edit: I would be happy to pay for something like this!

I wont go into it but put it this way. You dont have to pull you head unit apart to do it. Its done via OBDII

The plan I have in mind. You run some software and edit all of your buttons, startup animation and background, test it so it looks ok (simulated) then send it so it can be compiled and ready for upload to you unit by someone
