Hi guys, just wondering what kind of mods I could do to my car to make it sound and run better? Any information would be appreciated. Not looking to win awards.

Sound better - buy a v8
Run better - buy a v8

Follow the search that wongy did for you. However if you're thinking about getting a v8 in the future save on mods.

Putting an Elite catch can on mine this week. Should arrive on Wednesday. Simple mod and worth while..

manifold insulators from mace engineering. I bought an OTR as well and it doesn't compare in terms of torque/power.

I received my Elite Engineering catch can and installed it Tuesday night. Catch can purchased from Justin @ Tuff Car Parts. Great to deal with and quick friendly service.

Here are some photos

Thanks HEX for the pics looks great and good to see you got the cover back on did it go back on ok or did you have to modify it?
Did you get new rubber lines (size and length please) or did you get it with the can and cut to size?
Did you go ebay or straight to Justin @ Tuff Car Parts?
Cheers Pete

Hey Pete,

Engine cover goes straight back without any modification.

rubber line is provided with the catch can as 1 length. Once you position your catch can you measure the length then cut.

I bought it direct from Justin at TUFF Car parts. Cheaper that way.

Here is a photo of the parts that came with the catch can. I bought extra the G8 bracket (small alloy one in the photo) everything else is standard.

Hope that you don't intend to use the car for 'on-road' transport !
