Is it possible to throw some rear disc rotors on a Vl wagon diff that currently has drum brakes fitted? Or do I need a whole different diff that's already fitted with rotors?

AFIK you need to change the axle bearing and seals (or get the axles with the brakes).

IMO get the whole diff if you can, will make the jib easier.

Get a VL DB diff and just swap it. Its soooo much easier believe me I know from experience haha.
Just make sure you get the DB handbrake cable aswell.
