looking good. I've always been a fan of the VR-VS statesman hence why I got one too.

looks just like my VR when I got it so a good start.

I did what you are talking about, I changed the look of mine to make it look "newer". the easiest way to do this is to get yourself a series 3 boot garnish and matching lights, but the garnishs tend to be hard to find in good nick and not cheap either. I paid $700 for a new second hand garnish (the bit between the lights on the bootlid) and another $250 for a new set of lights. the newer style looks the same, but with chrome trimming arownd the outside and "statesman" written along the middle.

clear side and front indicators also set it off well and make it look tidier. I also decided to remove the pinstripes from mine too and add some chrome exhaust tips. My statesman also came with extra dark tint on the sides and opera windows and it looks gangsta as, the contrast from the white to the dark windows is rather pleasing.

less is always more with statesmans, they are solid looking long cars with straight lines and are supposed to be appreciated as such.

check out my thread, it's full of pictures of my VR. it's even the same colour as yours!

And indictors I want white colour instead of orange...But i need change light or?

I already check out your thread, your car is same as my car very nice and I like your new wheel it look awsome and look like 1997 =]

to de-badge it, just search the forum, there are heaps of threads about how to do it.

I removed the "STATESMAN by holden" badge from the bottom right of my bootlid too. as for the new garnish and lights, ebay is your friend. for a part like that the wreckers will charge your first born. the one you want is the series 3, and the matching series 3 lights. you need to make sure you have a working remote boot release as the newer garnish doesn't have a keyhole. you simply just remove the key barrel from the inside of the lid and the little arm that connects to the adulator, it's a 2 second job and just all pops out.

because they are coloured indicators the bulbs will be clear, so for clear indicators you'll need amber bulbs. I paid $120 from memory for the front lamps and I just nicked the side indicators off my VS commodore.

have you got any pics of the interior?
