There is a big black plastic pin in the right hand corner in the glove box, lever it out and then pull the glove box towards you while disengaging the left side.

I've never had a problem removing my glovebox in my VX. Give it a couple of weeks and it will fall off all by itself.

Mine fell off a couple of times thanks to that pin coming out so I fitted a circlip to the end and its never fallen out again.
