Change Dash

I wanna change the whole dash in my VX2 Executive to an SS 3 panel 1. But I understand that this may change the KM's on the ODO. Is this illegal? Even if it can be a side effect.

It can be done, but you'll have to get the speedo recalibrated at your Holden dealer.

Can you put a VT HSV dash into an EXEC and get the extra computer features to all work?

I thought the computer stores your km's and the cluster just displays the figures.So say your speedo wasn't working your km's are still stored in the computer even when you are still using the car.Is this right?
