Being the type of person who reckons everything will last another 5000kms, i have a noisy rear end that i cant quite work out. The noise is definatley at road speed but it sounds like the whirring of a pitted crown and pinion or axle racers/ wheel bearings. Now i have no experience working on vt etc so i dont know what the makeup of the drive train is like and was hoping for a bit of advice from people who might have had similar probs. Cheers

One of my mates had the same prob with his laser, the sound increases as the speed does. i looked at it and it turned out to be the bearings. not sure bout the holdens, but thats my 2 cents. i replaced them with ease and its almost silent now, there's just a dim voice from the engine...sounds like "i'm a sh*tbox, i'm a sh*tbox..." etc.
