Hoi hoi..

Looking into getting rims and weighing up my suspension options..

called Pedders - and asked the question about a camber kit..

He advised me that some VX's had adjustable camber on the rear as standard - he said I'd hav to bring it in to check it out?

Is this true..? if so.. which models have it?

WH Statesman SeriesII 5.7
just look under the back of your car and see if it has a control link going from the body to the hub assembly on each side.
This is what my statesman has and was told by the tyre place it is an FE2 feature.

From what I have been told VX (Series II) onwards are fitted with factory standard camber kits. This was done to correct excessive tyre wear caused in some earlier models like VT.

Either way, I don't care because my VX has it. It is a Series II I might add.

As said before VX 2 has an extra set of control links (not related to FE2, a VX 1 with FE2 wont have them) to amend the problem in VX 1 & earlier IRS.

If its a VX 1 then you will need preferably a 4 point adjustable camber kit to straighten them up as much as possible, VX 2 you shouldnt need to.

There is alot cheaper and as good if not better alternatives to Pedders aswell :)

Mines a series II so happy about that..

At present I'm ringin around to get a good idea of how much its going to cost..

Ultimately i can get King spring superlows for around the $300 delivered off ebay.. so gonna go down that path unless theres a big difference in ride harshness - if thats the case id rather pay a bit more and get a better ride..
