clear taillights

people who have done a clear taillight conversion on a vt, what do you do with the reflector/reverse light piece thats on the boot lid?

Usually the VT boot garnish is replaced with a VX boot garnish as the reverse lights and reflectors are now in the new lights.

Some guys leave the VT garnish with its lights in place but it doesnt look right IMHO.

i put the black/chrome lights on my vt and just got the boot garnish sprayed to match the colour of my car.......

i got the dark blue vt so i want some black lights
but how much does it cost roughly to get the garnish painted
and does the vt garnish look good painted or should i get a vx one
i basicly only want to paint the vt opne so that ive got the key hole still
