Hey guys,

I've got a mate who owns a 98VT exec V6 and wants to lower it but doesnt know where to start, what needs doing and how much it will roughly cost. Any help would be great, what overall cost are we looking at here?

Victor.

I've been looking into this lately aswell.

Well it all depends how much he wants to spend.
You can just change the springs to say some super low kings, but it will be a very rough ride and the shocks wont last long either.

So I suggest getting the springs, shocks, camber kit package all in one.

Budget setups can be done at pedders, think they use monroes. I got a quote for lowered springs, shocks, camber kit, and 4 wheel allighnment for $1400. Rides on these setups can be a bit harsh.

More expensive packages which use koni, bilstein shocks give a far more comofrtable ride, but costs more. Help this helps :)

That 1400 dollar quote from Pedders sounds really good considering the last quote I got from them. To replace front shocks and fit an adjustable panhard rod was around 1400 itself.

*cough* rip off *cough*
