Quick question about diffs....

Can someone please tell me if a VX V6 diff will bolt straight into a VT V6? I.e. are the diffs the same? I've never changed one over, is it a difficult job? Any fancy tools required? Sorry if it's a dumb question....:unsure:

Hi everyone I have a vx 01 acclaim v6. I just bought a LSD for $150 which came out of a vx v6 ex cop car with the numbers 92085133 s/n001668 with FM on the sticker on the diff. Can anyone tell me more about this diff. Thanks

Take the back cover off the diff and all of its secrets will be revealed.

hey give rustyvx01 ..credit he did a search. first .. FM means Friction Modified ... both diffs should fit your car
use the right LSD oil
