Will a Vy Diff be a straight swap into a Vt

i have a vt exec (peg leg) and im looking at geting lsd. I can get a Vy lsd diff with 3.46s for a good price but will it go straight in? or will i have to **** around to make it fit?????

Hang on... stop the bus...

A VY diff will not bolt straigh into a VT...

Yes... it is the safe diff but the point where the tailshaft attaches to the diff needs to be modified...

First image is a VT diff, second it a VY diff, third is the bit the VY uses to join the tailshaft that the VT doesn't

So you will either need to modify the tailshaft or the diff... not a biggy... but the question was "Will a VY be a straight swap into a VT" which it is not.
