Wow, that's a very good job. Looks really good mate. How DID you get the backing back like that?

Also, what are the wires in this picture:

It looks like the light is being separated some how? Can you explain some of that please? I'm thinking of re-doing mine.. it's looking way to rice and the light is very uneven. Also, way too much blue. Dash, A/C controls, and Head Unit.

I too would like to know how you got the green crap off.

I already have my LEDs in the back as white for the time being but haven't removed any green **** yet.

Looks alright for now but it doesnt fit my long term plan.... muahahaha.

White seems so much better for me.

hi guys
ummm i used wet and dry and rubbed like hell
it slowly comes off
i did this to the heater controls to but dont do it it causes green and black to come off and i had to buy new one 5 bux from holdens

the cluster has a seperate chambers for all lights and the way its designed i aimed 1 led into some plastic thingy and it spreds it out
hard to explain but when ya pull it apart youll see what i mean
the spedo/tacho is white leds while indicators are blue leds
i cant see any lawys saying they have to be any color so cross fingers its legal heeeh

Yeah I've done the conversion and 'aimed' it at the plastic part.. but it looks like you have separate wires inside there..

the wires are only the wires suplying power/earth to leds
heres a tip dont aim leds at the bit ya want to see aim it up a little bit
ive seen 90% dash mods look crap cause ya can see 3-4 spots where leds shine through really badly

I have a blown globe in my climate control of my VT berlina. I started to remove my dash but found that the part of the dash near the stereo and climate was on really tight. will it clip off or do I have to do other things to remove it? and is the globe soldered on or can I just remove it and plug a new one in?

you have to remove the suround from radio/dash/cluster all as 1 peice
then there are 4 screws holding in climate control
the globes are a speshal screw in type from holdens
but cause they 7-10 bux each i took all mine out and use leds only now
