hey does any1 know wat the difference is between standard and fe2. the reason i ask is because i have a standard vx calais which sits to high and i want to change it to the ss fe2 suspension. wat i want to know is it just the springs that are different or is there more involved like shocks and camber kits and expensive stuff like that.

Thanks brad.

30-35mm and the FE2 shockers are loweed..

2002 probably means you have a Series 2 VX. It has a control arm fitted to the rear, so no need for a camber kit.

So a full FE2 transplant is springs and shockers..

yeah saw that too. I'd get different shocks. Not cause those are bad but cause I have no idea about them. Research is the word. it's all reletive though, whatever you get is gonna be better than standard.

FE2 will just make the car feel "tighter" there no other way to decribe it :) but it will be much better to drive, FE2 is all about go not show (but does look better). Go and buy the springs from your local Holden, they are cheap

P.S don't get SS FE2 unless your car is a V8, get the V6 version, it has the proper front springs then

18's

well the car is standard now i wanna put a set of 18's on it and lower it a bit. i want to try and keep the smooth ride as much as possibe but if i dont lower it it will look silly with 18's. do u think fe2 will be low enough to make it look good with 18's on it?
