radio install....how?

how hard is it to install a cd player in place of the standard radio cassette

Easy if you buy a factory headunit with CD player....

wat sorta cd player u lookin at putting in?? and is it goin 2 only run the factory speakers or r u havin amps n woofers connected??

Once you get the old one out you can get a wiring adapter to plug into the car harness than conect that to the aftermarket stereo harness. Once done plug it together then mount it in, then if it is single DIN use a mazda dash pocket to fill the gap..

Works a treat.

y use the mazda single din pocket n not the holden VT 1??? r they both the same?

Holden don't make one for a single din. (as far as I know) If you can find one by all means put it in, but I used the mazda one as it is what I have found on other threads and I couldn't find a holden one that could do the job..

yeah, thats the same one that I have.. its probably just universal and sold everywhere..

Makes life a whole lot easier and doesnt look too bad

Yeah I was going to say get the pocked from ebay too.

Mine wasnt hard to put it, just rip out the holden one thats in there, put the brackets for the new one in, plug it all in, push it into the brackets, then slip the pocket under it. We didnt have any problems.
