is there any reason why u wanna go extractors on a 6?

coz i was going to go down this path with the my old vt v6 but after talking to a few ppl, some reasearch if your after for some noise and bit more power then a good cat back system is more that adequate for a 6.
if you have plans to seriously work the engine then year throw some extractors on.

well my 2c anyway

places in wa you could try are:
WA Performance Centre
APC Enhancements
Chipmaster
etc

extractors on a stock V6 or thereabouts is debatable, however just a few points for you to consider:

1. You'll get up to 15% better fuel economy.
2. You'll get increased performance.
3. You'll get more torque.
4. You'll get a cooler and cleaner running engine.
5. Your Auto transmission will run cooler.

I know most of those points many people disagree with, but extractors do have their benefits & it compliments a cat-back system & allows for future engine mods....as far as price, $690 is 'okay' but you'll prob. be able to find it cheaper elsewhere...

Cheers,

these are what im really after my fuel economy is absolute **** house atm, on a long trip over 800km i only got 700 km out of a tank, thats like 10l per 100km, i was getting alot better than that on my vn.

i hear what ur saying deano but i do want a bit more power especially response and acceleration and im thinking this is prolly the cheapest way ill get that and some better fuel economy. and yeh i would love a v8 but i dont have the funds to jump upto what i would want, a vx clubby like urs...:w00t:

cheers guys
