advance headers - now with pictures

I was told that advance headers may not fit into the VX V6 - 'will not variable speed rack' - how do I know if I have one fitted or not? How do I overcome that issue? looked at the website - Commodore VT, VX, VU, VY
Ecotec 3.8lt V6 Will not fit variable speed rack.

Has anyone got advance headers fitted to their 2001 VX V6 commodore? If so - has that effected your steering in terms of lock and turn ?

VX S2 Berlina Wagon with Phreddied bits.
The variable speed steering was only available on the Calais / Statesman and HSV models.

So webwombat, your VX S will have the standard rack and the advanced headers will fit and won't obstruct your standard steering rack.

weird as in the Gregory's manual it says - The power steering gear is a variable ratio rack and pinion type ( speed sensitive on Calais only ) anyway booked in for tomorrow :)
